Mike Ditonto brings a wide range of business experience, both corporate and private, to Pitch Hamburg’s Board.  Mike is the owner of Ten Thousand Vines, a micro winery located in the Village of Hamburg.

Mike holds Master’s Degrees in both Electrical Engineering and Business Administration from Cornell University and University of Buffalo respectively.  His Corporate business experience includes positions ranging from Satellite Systems Engineer and Program Manager to Vice President of Sales and Engineering and eventually President with Hughes Aircraft Company, NCR Corporation, American Locker Group and Signore Incorporated.  Mike and his development teams were granted several US and International patents, copyrights and trademarks.

In 2008, Mike combined his marketing creativity, business and manufacturing expertise and winemaking passion to create Ten Thousand Vines Winery.   The winery operates with a unique, consumer centric business model, producing internationally styled wines nearer the point of consumption rather than at the vineyard.  The winery self distributes all its products across Western NY with a focus on accessible wine education.

Mike has served on several community, and charitable Boards including the Village of Hamburg Economic Development Committee, the Hamburg Village Business Advisory Council, WNY Girls 4 Varsity Hockey, and the Muscular Dystrophy Association of WNY.  When not at the winery, Mike and his wife enjoy traveling and have hosted several wine destination trips in the US and abroad.
